Choosing any healthcare profession for your specific needs can be difficult and complex. This article is intended to help you with your decision, answer some frequently asked question, and inform you a little bit about Chiropractic care.

Chiropractic cares main goal is to improve your Spinal Health, Mobility, and Restore Function. A proper functioning nervous system allows for optimum performance in your life.

Picking a Chiropractor shouldn't be a haphazard decision. Take the time initially to choose the right physician for you so you don’t have to waste your time down the road. With yelp, Google+, Facebook, etc. there are so many ways to search for a Chiropractor in Silicon Valley, Mountain View, Palo Alto, etc. that it can be overwhelming. There isn't always a referral from a friend option, and even if there is you want to make sure that physician is a right fit for YOU.

Here are a FOUR of the top things to look for in picking your California Chiropractor:

  1. National and California Board certified Chiropractor
          - Credentials are crucial (Chiropractors receive their Doctorate of Chiropractic, D.C.)
          - Full DC requirements

   2.   Positive reviews
          - Look at their yelp page, Google+, Facebook page
          - Don’t just look at the stars, read the actual reviews!
          - A 5 star yelp review page with informative reviews!

   3.   Look around their actual website
          - Does it appear to be kept up nicely
          - Check out the about the doctor
          - Is there an easy way to make an appointment
          - Is there information that can be useful to YOU?
          - My Chiropractic Website

   4.   Do they have a FREE phone consultation
          - This can be the BEST way to see if the physician will be a good fit for you
          - Most clinics offer a FREE phone consultation to see if you are a candidate for care.
        - This is an easy way to pre-screen your physician and see if Chiropractic care is something you can                      benefit from.

My younger brother is very athletic and has recently started to have pains in his lower back, so he wants to find a chiropractor. I appreciate your suggestion to read the actual reviews about a chiropractor along with looking at the ratings. I'll help my brother find online reviews and ratings so he can pick the perfect chiropractor for his needs.

It's great that you pointed out that you shouldn't make a haphazard decision when picking a chiropractor. I would think that it would be a good idea to find a chiropractor that is always trying to hone their craft. A chiropractor should always be trying to improve their services and learn new techniques.

It really helped when you elaborated on checking a chiropractor's online presence before hiring one. My cousin's shoulder and neck got injured during her car accident last week, so she's interested in finding a chiropractor to help her, and I believe your article will definitely do the trick. I appreciate your insight on checking if a chiropractor's website is up-to-date and easy to use.

You make a great point about checking the "About" session. My back needs to be adjusted. I'll have to consider getting a chiropractor to do a check-up.

I like that this post stressed that when looking for a chiropractor, it is best that we look at the reviews. That way, we will have an idea of how qualified and skilled they are. I will definitely do my research and read through the reviews diligently to ensure I choose or at least shortlist a few reliable centers.

It was helpful when you said that their website needs to be kept up nicely. My sister got into a car accident last week, and she wants to find a chiropractor that can help treat her whiplash systems. I'll pass these tips along to her so she can know how to find a good chiropractor.

I like that you suggested reading reviews about the chiropractic care clinic or professional, since they should have five-star ratings with informative details. I will do that to find the best and most affordable chiropractor here in Grapevine, Texas. It will be a surprise for my husband for his birthday this month, since he has always wanted to get that kind of treatment for the pain in his lower back.

I agreed when you stated that we should choose a chiropractor with positive reviews from clients. My friend has been complaining about his back pain. I think it's time for him to see a chiropractor for proper care.
